I am running for city council because I know these are tough times. Not just for Tacoma but for the county, the state and the nation. I understand that we need a government that is in touch with what matters most to the people of Tacoma. Our city needs strong competent leaders who have experience in elected office and community service. I am that leader.

As your City Councilmember, Victoria will work to:

• Create successful opportunities for our working families and businesses. A successful local economy is key to our growth as a city. Victoria will develop real opportunities and solutions to the problems our working families and businesses face.
  
  
• Upgrade and maintain our local infrastructure. A thriving city like Tacoma requires maintained streets, effective transportation, and an investment in projects that will keep us moving. Victoria will lead us forward.
  
  
• Make city government more responsive and efficient. In tough economic times like this, we expect our government to use out tax dollars wisely. Victoria will make sure your concerns and needs are being heard and addressed.
